Timeline

Our Company History

2008: The beginning

E Plug was founded in 2008 in the vibrant city of Stavanger, Norway, driven by a passion for innovation and technological advancement.

2015: First field trial

The TorcPlug and EMT proved its multiset capabilities on Statfjord; North Sea, testing for leaks in a gas lift well.

2015: First international operation

The TorcPlug were run in Alaska on December 2015 followed by a period of rigouros testing and operational activities in the US lower 48.

2016: Awarded the ICoTA Intervention Technology Award

Local award won in Aberdeen followed by the international award in Houston.

2018: Expansion to Global Presence

Expanded reach globally, establishing strategic offices in key locations:

Kuala Lumpur
Perth

2019: Releasing new technologies

New electro-mechanical punching technology released developed together with a North Sea based operator and PWC Service Company.

2023: Adding to our portfolio

E Plug released new technology developed for multiple major operators to aid in radial expansion and regaining wellbore access.
