TorcPuller
High force, heavy duty pulling tool
The TorcPuller is activated by the E Plugs Electric Manipulation Tool (EMT) for the application of pulling crown plugs with forces higher than what the fishneck can handle.
Applying the anchor in the crown plug below the fishneck allows the tool to apply higher pulling forces and remove the crown plug by pulling against a profile in the stack above the tree.
The TorcPuller can be engineered to accomodate for multiple geometries.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Real time control through TorcDrive Software
- Enables pull forces up to 270.000 Ibs on Wireline
- Adjustable forces real time
- Designed to increase capabilities from LWI vessels were pulling crown plug on drill pipe is not an option
- Reduced risk and HSE exposure through real time adjustable forces
- Pulls way more than a GS tool and conventional strokers.
FAQ
What is the TorcPuller tool used for?
The TorcPuller is a high-force, heavy-duty pulling tool activated by the Electric Manipulation Tool (EMT) for pulling crown plugs with forces higher than what the fishneck can handle.
How does TorcPuller operate in well interventions?
TorcPuller applies an anchor in the crown plug below the fishneck so the tool can pull it against a profile in the stack above the tree, enabling removal of the crown plug under high pull forces.
What are some key features of TorcPuller?
TorcPuller offers real-time control via TorcDrive software, adjustable pull forces in real time, capability for high pull forces on wireline, and it is designed to increase pulling capacity where conventional strokers and GS tools are not effective.
