TorcCollector
Description
The TorcCollector incorporates a chamber thet can be oriented, opened and closed in order to catch a foreign object or debris in the well bore by scooping it up. After catching the foreign object or debris the chamber in the TorcCollector is closed and apiston inside the chamber is actuated in order to verify how much of the chamber is filled up, thus verifying that the fishing tool has caught something.
Initially designed to fish non magnetic debris inside a horizontal dry gas well bore where conventional solutions such as venturi junk basket or magnets would not work.
The TorcCollector can also be used to scoop up well bore filling such as sand or other material that would accumulate on the low side of the wellbore.
