TorcBreaker
Partly disassemble stuck crown plugs to enable removal.
Description
The TorcBreaker is operated by the E Plugs Electric Manipulation Tool (EMT) for the application of removing stuck crown plugs by disassemblying them in-situ. Having the ability to anchor in the crown plug and bite into the top plate of the crown plug and rotate with high torque the TorcBreaker can unscrew the top section of the crown plug, thus removing the support of the segments that hold the crown plug in place.
Features and Benefits
- Repeatable operation
- Selective force control
- Non Explosive
FAQ
What application is the TorcBreaker tool designed for?
The TorcBreaker is designed to remove a stuck crown plug by anchoring below the fishneck and pulling it back against a profile in the stack above the tree when the fishneck alone cannot do so.
How does TorcBreaker function in the operation?
TorcBreaker sets an anchor below the fishneck, allowing the tool to apply pull force and extract the stuck crown plug against the surrounding profile, addressing situations where conventional pulling may not be sufficient.
What sets TorcBreaker apart from conventional pulling tools?
TorcBreaker is suitable for scenarios where pulling forces required are beyond what conventional tools can provide alone, by anchoring in a lower position to achieve sufficient extraction force.
