TorcPlug® is a multiple set and release plugging device developed through a new patented method for transferring downhole forces without the use of explosives or pressurized chambers.

The TorcPlug® does not require a predetermined setting restriction inside the production tubing to obtain sealing, instead it uses the unique installation method to independently create high axial force.

The TorcPlug® can be deployed using conventional E-line to obtain the multiple set and release functions, but also on slickline using downhole battery package. For retrieving an industrystandard GS pulling tool can be used or the EMT running tool for obtaining the multiple set and release opportunity. The system does not require any equalizing assemblies as this is integrated as part of the release mechanism.
