R&D Engineer - Software and Electronics



Are you a flexible software engineer looking for a career and not only a job? E Plug has a job opening to work in a small R&D team of software and electronics engineers, that work in world leading oil and gas technology projects. You will be able to own your own projects from start to end. Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Collaborate with the R&D team for solutions and implementation of new technologies
  • Software Programming
  • Testing tools and electronics
  • Data interpretation
  • Support operations department
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Assemble electronics on E Plug technologies
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management for parts ordering
  • Perform work according to E Plug standards and procedures and following internal and external QHSE guidelines
 
Desired qualifications & experience:
  • Higher education, in studies related to computer science, mechatronics, electronics, cybernetics
  • Knowledge of wire harnesses, connectors, power supplies, motors, microcontrollers
  • Experience in programming language
  • Experience with git
  • Fluent English level

Materials Specialist

E Plug is in search for a Material Specialist to join the diverse R&D team to support the mechanical engineers with product development and improvement.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Support R&D mechanical engineers in the appropriate product design of elastomers
  • Keep abreast with manufacturing industry updates
  • Research and assist in the recommendation of metallic and elastomeric material selection
  • Participate in product process and improvement
  • Follow up and optimize manufacturing procedures
  • Select testing methods for metals and elastomers
  • Design framework for acceptance testing of elastomers  
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager for supplier and material approval
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of documentation for the area of responsibility
  • Provide input for Non-Conformance Report
  • Perform work according to E Plug standards and procedures and following internal and external QHSE procedures and guidelines
 
Desired qualifications & experience:
  • Higher education, in studies related to material science
  • Experience in polymeric manufacturing processes
  • Advantage if you have experience in elastomer science
  • Fluent English- oral and written

Product Engineer

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Support R&D engineers in finalizing the development phase and set up standardized and commercial products
  • Support operations department
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of documentation for assigned products
  • Assist sales department with technical information and documentation
  • Participate in product improvement
  • Analyze product trends and keep track of the product history
  • Responsible for Non-Conformance Report handling for the assigned products
  • Perform work according to E Plug standards and procedures and following internal and external QHSE guidelines
 
Desired qualifications & experience:
  • Higher education, in studies related to engineering
  • Experience drawing in CAD
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Product improvement knowledge
  • Any level of experience is applicable
  • Fluent English- oral and written
